Two grandsons and one great grandson: William Hierlihy, John Wishart, and Robert Blake.

William Hierlihy and Jane Hierlihy (nee Jane Johnston). William was a grandson of Charlotte and Philip Hierlihy. His father, Philip Hierlihy, was the eldest son of Charlotte and Philip Hierlihy. William was born in the year of Charlotte's death, 1841. Jane was born in 1839.

John Wishart and Elizabeth Wishart (nee Elizabeth Young). John was a grandson of Charlotte and William Wishart. His father, William Wishart, was the only son of Charlotte and William Wishart. He was born in the year of Charlotte's death, 1841. Elizabeth was born in 1840.

Robert Murray Blake and Margaret Blake (nee Margaret Buchanan). Robert Murray was a great grandson of Charlotte and John Blake. Margaret Buchanan was his second wife. His first wife was Charlotte M. Hierlihy. Robert Murray Blake's father was John Blake, and his grandfather was Robert Blake (the son of Charlotte and John Blake). This picture was provided by Pat, a Blake descendant. Jefferys' notes about this picture from The Picture Gallery of Canadian History Volume 2: Thomas Carleton, born in Ireland, 1735, entered the army, and after some years of active service was sent to Canada in 1776 as Quarter Master General under his brother, Sir Guy Carleton, Governor and Commander-in-Chief. In 1784 he was appointed Lieutenant-Governor of the new province of New Brunswick. Established the capital at Fredericton, returned to England in 1803, where he died in 1817. Shipwrecks And Pioneer Cemeteries of Prince Edward Island — This image demonstrates powerfully how dangerous life could be for those who went down to the sea in sailing ships. For example, the Bark Annabella was shipwrecked off PEI in 1770, and the Brigantine Elizabeth followed her in 1775. The terrible Yankee Gale waited until October 1851 to take its toll, during three terrible days, when 74 ships were destroyed and 150 sailors were lost.
